The name Research for the Bermuda Triangle (RBT) is derived from the meeting point (vertex) between Regina Mamou and Lara Salmon.

Vertex 1 is R = Research-based (known dependent variable)
Vertex 2 is B = Body-based (known dependent variable)
Vertex 3 is the Third Entity = That which exists between us + that which we seek to uncover (unknown independent variable)

Finally, the Bermuda Triangle is a ‘space’ that is part nonfiction, part pop culture. It situates our practice in a non-place place, does not tether us to one locale, + allows us to work in international settings without redefinition of our collaborative practice.
